Agriculture
Agromar Company has embarked on a journey towards green expansion in its local production activities. The first step in this initiative was the acquisition of agricultural land located at kilometer 45 on the Alexandria-Cairo Desert Road.
Solar Energy
The infrastructure of Agromar Farms has been developed to ensure sustainable productivity while facilitating smooth operations, capacity building, and growth in an environmentally friendly manner. An integrated system has been implemented, combining fish farming with advanced irrigation and drainage systems for the farmland, alongside the utilization of solar energy.
Traditional Agriculture
The integration of traditional and non-traditional farming practices is a key feature of Agromar's approach. This includes cultivating wheat fields in alignment with state policies to achieve self-sufficiency, alongside non-traditional crops such as dragon fruit and tropical plants aimed at export markets.
Non-Traditional Agriculture
A significant portion of the agricultural land has been allocated for the construction of greenhouses designed specifically for cultivating tropical fruits, including dragon fruit.
